Making me happy since Thursday, January 24! Pop-Rock Candy Mountain: I love you more than yo mama!
- Cloverfield conspiracies: Ah Cloverfield. Now I must see you again to see all that I allegedly missed.
- The new Star Trek website is up: Yes, I embrace the fact that I’m a geek, nerd and possible loser. Click the red dot for more J.J. Abrams-inspired viral madness.
- The Anchorwomen (and female reporters) of WTVA. Remember when whats-her-name was the evening anchor and she would lull you to sleep every night? Well, Whats-Her-Name is long gone. Say hello to Julee, Rachel, Anna, Danielle, Kelli , Beverly and Susan. They are the best thing to happen to WTVA since the fight between John Dolusic and Jonathan Burleson heard over the internet during the Caledonia tornado. “It’s just a job.” Thanks, Dolusic.
- Attorney General Jim Hood is becoming increasingly unpopular in the state’s media.
- Deal Or No Deal: The Kentucky ‘Tater Queen didn’t quite win a million, but she won my heart. And her mom was like a country Sally Struthers.
- The New X-Files Movie: Oh yes, there will be werewolves.
- Choke: My favorite Chuck Palahniuk book is now a movie staring Sam Rockwell.
- Seared Ahi Tuna at Outback: Get the appetizer, but skip the chopped salad.
- Moroccan Fig Votivo Candles: It’s almost better than the Red Currant….close, but not quite.

Back in the day when I attended the infamous Itawamba Kinder College, Kathy Nash used to take a class (me thinks it was Econ 101). We used to call her “Nasty Gash”.

Seems like I went to her apartment with some friends one time and it was weird…like weird, high musicians and stuff. I don’t know…..for whatever reason, I blocked it out. I think that dude Bric was there…I wasn’t intoxicated, but I don’t remember much..Bad folk singing will do that to a person. Thanks for calling in Johnny. Pop-Rock Candy Mountain loves you more than yo mama.

Thanks for the compliment! And, again, you’re right about those red currant candles!

I’m so glad someone else appreciates the seared tuna at outback. My dad and I got that and we both wanted to rub it all over ourselves and called it ours.
